Description
This manual provides an overview to religious leaders and church groups about the HIV/AIDS pandemic, as well as issues and challenges faced by people living with HIV/AIDS. The curriculum offers relevant education on public health and reproductive health and helps identify cultural and social factors that contribute to the spread of HIV/AIDS. It is also designed to help faith-based groups determine ways that they can address the HIV/AIDS pandemic, whether through offering counseling and spiritual guidance, or through broad approaches such as teaching congregations HIV prevention, and caring or advocating for the rights of people living with HIV/AIDS. This manual is one in a series of four manuals.
