Description : A new, monthly vaginal ring developed by the International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM) is the first long-acting vaginal ring to prevent HIV. This ring slowly release a anti-retroviral drug, dapivirine, over the course of one month to reduce the risk of HIV in Women. A video was created to describe the ring and IPM's plan to ensure women at high risk of HIV can have access to this product.
