The hitherto marginalised groups of people identified as being especially vulnerable to HIV/AIDS discrimination, appear to be gradually pushing their agenda into the National Strategic Framework for HIV/AIDS (2003-2009) in Botswana. The framework was obviously not crafted to include specific needs of these groups that include sex workers, intravenous drugs users, homosexuals, mobile populations, women, youths, and prison inmates. Interestingly, however, the concerned authorities are not resisting the push.
